Lazy Street

Don't know if it's the weather or the transitions in my life that's making me unproductive. I sit in front of the computer and it takes me hours to figure out what I need to do. I'm just getting started and I'm frustrated and can't seem to focus. I have to start up on my writing again and, frankly, I dread it. Not that I'm burnt out with the story...oh no...I'm just in this weird period trying to get up the energy to work again. I've got a job interview tomorrow so I'm kinda stressed about that, but I'm doing my best to keep up with my head. With the time change, it's really been screwing with me..funny how one hour difference makes a huge impact on your day. OK, I shouldn't make excuses but I feel like being lazy. This is my first real day off without resume posts, interviews, running errands..so I deserve to be lazy DARNIT! Yawn, I'm sleepy too. Maybe that's why I'm cranky.

Maybe I'll take a nap....yeah, that should solve everything.

You totally deserve to be lazy. Enjoy it.

Don't get too comfortable, ma petite fleur...you know you need to land that new job so you can take me to the spa like you promised. BTW, I looooove the Parisian Skye cover mockup you did for Cassidy! You are too talented! Don't forget to bake me a cake like you promise...Okay, so you didn't, but it would be a sweet gesture all the same for my trip back. I even promise to bring you a beret!

You need a break. Constantly working is hard on the muse. Give yourself a day (or a few days) off and I'll bet you'll be back on track in no time.
