Man, I love these holidays. Even better that the 4th is on a Tuesday because our company gave us the additional Monday off.. Yippee. My weekend is so planned..

Friday - Birthday Party in Santa Monica
Saturday - Breakfast w/ friends, SUPERMAN, web work
Sunday - Cleaning day, all day
Monday - Hanging out with Lisa, girl's day, Devil Wears Prada
Tuesday - Recovering from alcohol binge day & web work (bashing myself on the head from being maxxed out and decided I am definitely going to retire from web work!)

Sounds like such a wonderful time being busy.... Anyone with plans? I hope to barbeque or something. Beach would be good, so maybe I'll get to squeeze it in.

Why all the holiday themed stories? Heck, truth is, they were all written last December (except for SUNSET KEY) so we were in the jolly spirit, is all. I can guarantee this one will heat up your coffee because it's that HOT!

I've got a list a mile long of projects I need to complete...gosh, roll in the coffee wagon!

I came back from Orland on on Monday night after being gone almost two weeks. My father was really ill and I had to take care of things. I'll tell you what, staying at a hospital for days on end and seeing illness around every corner really makes you think hard about your own life. I didn't get any writing done because I was constantly busy and inspiration doesn't hit when you're tired, miserable, and depressed. Now that I'm back in LaLa land, I'm getting it together. Sure, I'm behind. Sure, I've got deadlines, but in the end I need to take care of number one. I'm just going to take it at my own pace and hope that everything works out. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get my partials out to the agents I've neglected.

Congrats Kristen on landing the Knight Agency! I knew you would do it!

Yep, that's right.. I'll have been married 7 years this Saturday. Can you believe it? Wow! It still shocks me to think about it as I feel like we were just married yesterday..it's all coming back to me now. Well, what will we do? Everything is up in the air until tonight when we finalize our plans. However, I did get reservations for the infamous IVY Restaurant on Robertson in Bev Hills. It's a special occasion and I've been meaning to go there and why not! It's our anniversary!

Now, tell me if this is silly...but hubby wants to go to the LA Zoo... do you think that's a romantic outing for an anniversary???? Well, we initially were going to go away to a B&B for the weekend, but due to my workload, we opted to make it lowkey. What do you think? Am I dorkie to believe it should be full of fun and surprises?
