I shouldn't be so excited, but I am. No, I'm not going to tell you but when it happens I'll let you know. If you're thinking that I've seen two pink lines..that's not it!! I'll divulge info soon.

Another adventures of being a personal assistant... I got to drive my bosses super tricked out Mercedes S500! It was pretty nice with every electronic gadget a car can possess. Boy, it puts my Prius to shame. Too bad it's his "old" car and now he's got an even nicer fully loaded Mercedes S550..now, if I could get the keys for that I'd be stoked! Anyways, life's never dull as I get about a hundred calls a day in addition to tasks, arrangements, checks, errands..blah blah blah etc. etc. etc. My head's reeling even thinking about it.

Well, I am soooo proud of my friend Kristen for doing the three-day walk for breast cancer! She almost made it to the end..but it doesn't matter, the fact is that she raised money for a wonderful cause. I think next year I'm going to do the two-day with her. We've tossed around the idea so I better start preparations. This weekend I'm going to do some filming. Won't tell you what for but you'll see in time.

Do you think I have any free time? No way. All the same, I am looking forward to watching Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy tomorrow night and then for the weekend! Boy, do I love them! What are you up to?

I can't seem to keep track of it. It's true, the years seem to be flying and we're approaching 2007 already!!!! Can you believe it? I don't know why I was thinking about it. I guess it's this new job. It's like going to Vegas and sitting at the slots all day with A/C piped in and no windows for you to keep track of time...yes, it's like that for me EVERY DAY. Hummmm, it's Friday night and I should be out hanging at bars with my buddy Jess but he's out partying without me. Am I getting old? I start to count my friends. I have two good girl friends here and that's it. How sad when the only other girl pals I have live in different states, so that doesn't help me there when I want girl's night. Oh well. I guess I'll settle for my Smirnoff black cherry or raspberry wine coolers and watch the DVDs I bought several weeks ago. Maybe stuff my face with Starbuck's Coffee ice cream. Speaking of ice cream...there's this yummy yummy Gelatto shop that opened up in my little neighbor to die for! It takes be back in time to those days when I was roaming around the streets of Paris. There was one little Gelatto shop near Notre Dame that we had stood in line for like 45 minutes for two dinky scoops that cost us $6 American dollars. It was well worth it. Well, all this talk of ice cream is making me want some.

Looks like Cassidy Kent has two novellas due in a few short months and they're called DOLCE & DIANA, a follow up to RALEIGH IN RIO, and MIRANDA WRITES for a psychic anthology...which will both be published by PHAZE.COM. With all the winter releases, I am all set for the holidays. I miss the parkas, hot chocolate by the fireplace and snowball fights. Sigh...I don't think I'll be going home for Thanksgiving but I may be headed to Florida for Christmas unless things change. My new job is kicking my butt. Being a personal assistant is HELL...ask UGLY BETTY. I know exactly how it feels to be out of place. I have been working really sucky hours and when I'm not working, I'm thinking about work. I'm thinking about not screwing up and forgetting something and I'm thinking about winning the lotto. I guess I'll get use to the late hours and mental distress...but still, I'm counting the days until I write full-time. Doesn't any writer?

Anywoo..I'm so beat. Got home at 8:30 PM tonight and had to do domestics like cook and clean before I could get some 'me' time...now I can't think. So what the hell am I doing posting? I have no idea. Maybe I'm on auto pilot.

I had worked for a company several months ago in which I was facing a very difficult time when my father was gravely ill. After a series of unfortunate events, I returned to work and faced the Demon Boss who made me feel lower than tub scum... well, today I found out that Karma has a way with coming back to those who aren't so nice. The company finally gave her the boot and her lover, my other boss, resigned. Can I just say, Hallelujah! Hummmm....I think that this has made me feel the sense of spirituality come creeping back. Sure I work long hours and pop antacids like it's candy, but it's a good change for me. If I thought I didn't have enough stress in my life I should have listened to my mother and became a doctor. Watching Grey's Anatomy reinforced the lost dream.... now, if there really were studs like McDreamy or McSteamy...I'd sign up for med school in a heartbeat.
