Mr. Right came home from work last night and gave me the mail. I had purchased a large Atlas of Fashion Designers book because I wanted to be inspired. I've been longing to sew and create, but didn't have the motivation--until now. But before I had a chance to crack open the book, he handed me a Barnes and Noble bag. Inside was a copy of "Julie & Julia" I've been eying. Since I've seen previews eons ago, I've been dying to buy the book...so in that brief few seconds, I reminded myself just how awesome he truly is! It's the little things he does that make me so happy and he's given me a lot to laugh about. Not trying to be too sappy but he was truly meant for me! In every way and I know I've got some jealous girlfriends out there who will be the first to admit it. They've even told me so. (Hands off, he's all MINE!)
I know most of you are sick of me praising him but he's just amazing....words are not enough to express how I feel.... Sometimes I look at him and I can't breathe. I can't seem to focus because he has a way will making me feel like the most important person. Special. He is so good with the art of negotiating and verbal communication--it took me a long time to have the patience I do now..but honestly, he's brought the Zen in my life.
Funny how these thoughts assaulted me just from the simple act of giving me a book...it may not be diamonds or expensive cars...but it made me appreciate him all over again. Even when the going got tough I managed to stay focused and positive. If he wasn't there to tell me the things I needed to hear without sugar coating it, I wouldn't be who I am now. So, every once in a while I like to yell from the rooftops that I have a man who is the epitome of what 'chivalry' is all about. I couldn't ask for anything more...
On that note, he's taking me for date night on Sunday so we're going to just enjoy being together. To me--that's what romance is all about.

Just marry that man already, will you? Some of us want to dance at your wedding while we can still walk. LOL
I'm with Kristen LOL! We are soooo happy for you here in Florida!
Aww. It's the little things that make all the difference in a relationship. If they care about the lil' stuff, you know they'll have your back for the big stuff! :) So happy for you girl!
He sounds so thoughtful!
What a man- what a man- what a mighty fine man!
Awww he's a keeper. Don't let go of him! Like Katie said it's the little things that means the most. It shows that he pays attention - and that's a biggie in my book.
You know when we get hitched we will have a big party with lotsa dancing! Thanks for approving everyone!
That's so lovely! You deserve a guy that spoils you rotten. Don't we all?
And ditto about the wedding. ;) But first things, first. Have lots of fun on date night.
