TGIF

Seriously. Although, I don't enjoy the prospect of housecleaning. I've neglected my chores for so long that I have boxes and piles of papers, books, magazines... it's something out of an Oprah segment on OCD. haha. Well, not quite so disgusting, but I live with junk. My plan is to spend all day Saturday in 'maid service' hell. I'm thinking when I get into that groove I'll start cleaning EVERYTHING. Maybe it's built within me to turn on robot mode.

Well, it's been an interesting week to say the least. I am the unluckiest person when it comes to getting a real corporate job. Whether I'm laid off due to a merger or finding myself working for the biggest neurotic, it never fails. Right company, wrong bosses. Right bosses, wrong company... I honestly want job security, but these days I wonder if it's worth it when you have to put up with people who don't respect you, who spend more time acting like adolescents than being professional, and who enjoys blaming anyone they feel threatened about. It's true..I get it all the time. I was starting to believe I found the perfect job, as fate would have it, I found a real loser..again.

Lucky lucky me. :)

It sounds like a new twist on chick-lit...right guy, wrong job, wrong job, wrong job.

So, how was the housecleaning? Did you flush your boss down the toilet after scrubbing him with bleach?

Better yet, pour bleach and ammonia into the toilet and lock him in the head.

Sorry about the job, Jax. That stinks. At least you're writing side is doing well :)

I'm horrible when it comes to housework. I'm not a pig, but when I try to juggle farm work, writing and my six boys, the house does suffer.

Ugh. I'd rather clean bathrooms (mine at least) than have to get a job in the corporate world.
Good luck, if you're about to begin another quest for employment!
