Ice Storm? For real?

Author: Jax Cassidy // Category: , ,
I've been watching the news for the last two days and last night it fell below freezing...it had dropped as low as 19 degrees. Most of the school district closed and the roads were slicked, iced over. Glad I'm indoors trying to get writing done. It's easy to get so absorbed that you forget to check to see what the weather is like outside. It's still overcast and the sun is just trying to peek through. I know by the evening it should be in the 40s. We're going to attempt to go out for dinner. I've been stuck indoors for three days now. Most people get stir crazy, I normally get obsessed with work so I forget date and time. Even with the weather being so very cold, Mr. Right made dinner last night! It was delicious and I think he's giving me a run for my money when it comes to culinary skills.

He made Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp and it tasted exactly like PF Chang's recipe. A girl can get used to this lifestyle...he even did the clean up! I have it easy...shhhh, I shouldn't say that. It's hard not to get comfortable when I've found a man who is so masculine, yet isn't afraid to brave the kitchens to create such scrumptiously delicious meals...and he brings me coffee in bed....sigh....

Believe me, I pinch myself every morning...

I'm so sorry it is so cold there Jax. But I'm glad you and Mr. Right are making the most of it. Dinner sounded fabulous.

Do you think if I burn the food a few times he'll take over kitchen duties indefinitely?

Fine, I know, I'm too competitive to stay out of the kitchen. LOL

PS...it's warming up!

Wow...sounds nice. The dinner and coffee in bed part. Not the weather :)

And he's really nice and cute too. But you are cuter! I'm so glad you are happy.

PS: See if he will pass on the recipe, I'd love to try it.

He makes a good blanket, Dara.

Eva, you know he'd get along great with your Hot Italian Stud!

You are so lucky, Jax!

...and how long did it take to train Mr. Right?

I'm still working on mine- I should really come up with a name for him...something flattering, because he might be reading this.

I didn't train Mr. Right, he came that way. No instructions needed because I am feeling absolutely LUCKY and there will be no trading in. NEVER! :) LOL

It's was 60 degrees here yesterday! And last week it snowed 7 inches. Totally bizarre.
