It's been a while since I've pampered myself. Besides the occasional pedicure, I haven't gotten a haircut or anything. Today, I decided that I need to do that. I'm going to get layers in my hair (which is long overdue) and get a mani/pedi. I'll even throw in extra for a longer reflexology session! I would have opted to go to a spa, but I think I'm going to wait until I finish my proposal and I know that my agent will love it. It's going to be a celebration so then I would feel I deserved the spa...not because I just want it. LOLThe last week or so I've been going over my priorities and decided that it's time to focus on writing again. I won't lie, this paranormal proposal is kicking my butt. I have to think dark and I have to write dark and sexy. The premise is awesome, but I want it to be more than awesome. I'm wanting it to really launch me in a new direction...It's really juicy and I hope that readers will love it...
Onto other news, this weekend is my 20-year HS Reunion. I'm really bummed out about missing it but I'm sure everyone's going to have a great time. Gosh...I'm showing my age. Anyways, I'm hoping they'll have a 25 or 30 year one which I can participate in. Here's a shout out to VBHS Class of '89! Hope everyone will enjoy the weekend festivities!
