Jax's Artistic Journey...

This is one of my favorite holidays but this year I've promised myself that I would write and get my proposal done...the one that never ends...before I can enjoy any more days off. It's a tough project and I am committed to getting it finished no-matter-what!

Which leads me to committing myself to laying off the internet except for research reasons this weekend ... maybe parts of next week. However, I will only be online to post on blog days at various places but I am going to buckle down and avoid everything and everyone otherwise. Drastic times calls for drastic measures so I'm grounding myself...sort of.

Wish I was going to some kind of fancy party--ooh, I love dressing up--but I'll be okay about missing all the fun this year because it will be a party for me when I can finally shut up about my proposal and totally brag that "I SENT IT OUT".

Watch me.

Life.

Well, I've got soooooo much going on these days and I need to take some time to catch up on all my deadlines and personal obligations. I'm giving myself a few weeks, so in the interest of not going crazy and running down the street hurling profanities at the top of my lungs...I will retreat to the writing cave.

I'll be doing my blogging rounds and trouble shooting issues with Romance Divas, but I shall be scarce. Hopefully I'll be able to pop in and throw out some nuggets of wisdom. In the interim I hope you all buckle down and focus on your projects, loved ones, and staying optimistic.

In an effort to get all my work done, I've decided to take a break from blogging for a week or two...but knowing me...I might just sneak back here and there if it's really big news...which I'm hoping I'll get...but that's for another blog.



Here I am, inundated with deadlines and just found out I have just added another project to the plate! Wow, I need to stop sending proposals every time I get an idea. But I can't help loving my publisher for believing in me!!!!

This weekend is a productive writing weekend, in fact, the rest of my days will be filled up with writing...eating, sleeping, breathing...that and finishing websites I owe people...life is so tough, I tell ya! In an effort not to have a nervous breakdown, I will be turning off the socializing and locking myself in my quarters like Stephen King does and just write.

Now, if only I can make a living as a writer...that would make things so much more simpler... :)
